Seoul Station official film trailer
In this film, there are some scenes that i liked which is the scene that a guy is willing to help the homeless old man who has bleeding on his neck. Although the police, doctors and pharmacists are saw him as a nuisance, did not care that he is alive or not but he did not give up that try to save him. At the end, the old man died and turn him into zombie. From this scene, I admire that guy because he is kind-hearted person and he will no matter what situation is on. Not like the other people on the street that did not want to help when the old man walking on the street. Other this example, the guy also has do good thing on this film. For example, he try to advice that bald guy who was smoking to stop his as the bald guy throw the smoking thing to the plants, if not it will cause bad incident happened.
Moreover, the next scene that I liked is a lot of zombies running to the non infected place and rush into it and causes many people infected and become the zombies. I like this scene is because it is suprised me when the zombies rushing like the ocean wave, it comes very fast. Also, this scene is made this animated film a very good conflict as when the zombies running, I will felt goosebumps every time I watched this scene. The story of this film especially the effect is quite good as it start form the individually affected and slowly slowly the crowd will become bigger and it will be out of control. Therefore, the crazy woman laughing scene is the third scene that i liked in this film. When these two people which is Hye-sun and the homeless guy are trying to escape through the gate in the Seoul station suddenly a woman who has many sweat and breath deeply that is standing in front of them. They started to feel nervous and thought that she is one of the zombies, the woman started run to them but the homeless guy's stomach stuck on the gate and cannot get him out of the gate. When the guy think that he will caught buy her, the woman stopped and laughed very loud. After she laughed, she went away from them. This scene is one of my favourite scene in this film as it gives us to release the nervousness and enjoy the funny moment.
Survive or give up?
There are some scene that I also dislike in this film which includes Hye-sun's good-for-nothing boyfriend Ki-Woong who is in the cyber cafe to betray her by pimping out her online due to the money problem for living. I do not like this scene is because her boyfriend betray her just to get his earning for his living. I think this is the bad ways to earn money. There are many ways to earn money for the living purpose but not using this way to earn money. For instance, they can find a proper jobs or regular part time jobs instead of selling her online for the living purpose. I think that if they just follow the regular person's footsteps that finding a proper jobs, these incidents would not happened and it will have the butterfly effects. ( Clarence Tsui, 2016)
On top of that, the next scene that I disliked in this film is Hye-sun's "father" Suk-gyu kills her boyfriend and almost rape her scene. When Hye-sun reveals that Suk-gyu not his father and Ki-woong tries to stop him from taking her out. However, it was too late for Ki-woong that Suk-gyu had found out the he want to him and stop this happen, finally Suk-gyu killed him with not mercy. Ki-woong's girlfriend cried sadly and he take her to the bed. The graphics is too bad to watch. I do not like Suk-gyu as he lost his humanity to kill Ki-woong and his girlfriend. He do not have his wisdom to solve the problem instead of killing this couple.
In conclusion, this animated film taught us that humanity is very important. Without the humanity, anything bad incidents will happened. This film was a nice dusting of social realism withe the violence and there are a lot of discrimination happened in this film. We can know that discrimination of the social class is worse. They think that people like homeless people and others are useless. But is not. They still have the good people, some are better than people that live in the city. So, everyone need to turn over a new leaf so that no one will lost their humanity and we can live in peacefully. ( Gwilym Mumford, 2017)
